I started
motorcycle road racing, as a hobby, in 1979 on a Honda
CB750F2 then briefly on a Laverda Jota, Kawasaki KH250
and finally in 1981 on a Yamaha RD350LC. I also took
part in an AMCA Motocross season on a Yamaha YZ250, with
varying results!

From
1983 onwards, I spannered for my lifelong best friend
and double Scottish champion, Graham Taylor.
We spent approximately 15 years racing, including; the
Isle of Man TT, Irish Road Race circuits and 250cc
Supercup Series throughout the UK, where we enjoyed
great success as a team. |

<> During 1995/1996 I worked for Padgett's Grand Prix team on Yamaha YZ500V4 two stroke machines and have also worked with a number of riders including; Toshi Arakaki, Eugene McManus, Chris Walker, Paul Young, Iain McPherson and Dennis Ireland to name but a few.

such a varied background and over 21 years as service
manager at Slocombes of Neasden, a former BMW Main
Dealership, I have gained a broad and in-depth range of
knowledge and skills which you, the customer, now

Striking
out from Slocombes, I have started my own BMW motorcycle
service, repairs and restoration business in
Bedfordshire, near Luton, where my passion for all bikes
